The 11th house in astrology is the house of friends and hopes: friends, groups, networks, community, hopes and long-term goals. Its sign and any planets in it show how these themes play out in your life.
What the 11th house means
The 11th house is about the people you choose and the future you hope for. It covers friends, groups, causes and networks, and the goals you keep working toward alongside others.
Its sign describes your kind of community and how you fit into a group — as leader, connector, rebel or quiet supporter. Planets here make friendship and shared causes central.
What the 11th house rules
- Friendships and social circles
- Groups, teams and communities
- Networks and online life
- Hopes, wishes and long-term goals
Its natural sign is Aquarius and its natural ruler is Uranus (traditionally Saturn), which is why the 11th house shares many of Aquarius's themes.
