Aries rising (an Aries Ascendant) means Aries was climbing over the eastern horizon when you were born. You come across as direct, energetic and quick to act. People notice your pace and your courage before anything else, and you tend to walk into rooms as if something is about to start.
What Aries rising means
Your rising sign describes how you meet the world: your first impression, your instinctive reactions and the way you begin things. With Aries rising, that style is unmistakably Aries, whatever your Sun sign is. Many people with a Aries Ascendant say it describes them better than their Sun sign does — at least until people get to know them.
